Adjacent landowners and stakeholder consideration should be factored into initial project siting. Often Altis is already interacting with these individuals through our land acquisition efforts. We identify directly and indirectly impacted parties early in the process to involve them in the planning process. Altis strives to engage local community leaders and influencers to document clear and regular communications. In populated areas Altis may engage local public relations firms to assist in stakeholder outreach and neighborhood canvasing. As permit hearings approach, we deploy a variety of outreach tools including, mass mailings, open houses and community meetings. The end goals to have an uneventful public hearing resulting unanimous project approval.
